Saturday, February 4th, 2012
When you think about vacation spots, you do not really put Bangkok Thailand on top of your lists do you? You would pick out the more obvious destinations and leave out the other ones for other things. Still, when you really think about it, it would be a good idea for you to make sure that you would be able to go to other places and give them a chance, you never know what you might encounter and, who knows, you might just be able to make certain that you would never have any problems making sure that you would be able to see places like pattaya Thailand and you would think to yourself that you have really been missing out on a lot of things and you would be really happy you took the time to make sure that you went there and you would not regret making that decision at all.

My Birthday is Coming Up Next Month
Thursday, January 26th, 2012
Next month we will be celebrating a second year on our travel blogs – I still can not believe that two years have passed since we started our first travel blog.
In some ways it feels like we have been doing it for much longer, in other ways these two years have flown by like nothing else.
Time goes a lot faster these days than it did when I was a child – I remember adults always talking about how fast time passes, especially during Christmas.
They always seemed to surprised that Christmas was “already there”, and I felt like December was the longest month of the year.
I was looking forward for christmas eve for twenty four days, which is nothing when you are an adult but a long time when you are a child – for some reason.
Maybe because the days look very similar for kids, and they do not really have anything to do, time passes slower – but I do not remember being bored very often.
I prefer it when time goes slowly, it makes you feel like you have more to enjoy.
I think that is why many people hate their birthdays, which also by the way feel like they are closer and closer every year.
My birthday is coming up next month, and while I used to long for this day as a child, it realy does not mean much these days.
Maybe because I do not get any presents anymore, the past four years I have celebrated my birthday in a different country, and I can not remember the last time I had a birthday cake.
It is funny how those superficial and material things can make such a difference to your birthday.
But you are brought up to believe that what makes a birthday special is the cake and presents, nothing else.

My Wife and Her Travel Habits
Friday, January 20th, 2012
I will never understand why anyone would want to go shopping while on vacation. I understand shopping for souvenirs and other unique items from the country you are visiting, but high-end retail stores? I do not get it!
This habit is something I married into when I exchanged vows with my wife. On our trip to Spain, she constantly visited the malls that carried all these designer stores that we can visit any day when we get back to New York City. Needless to say, we ran out of luggage space that we had to buy a new one while we were there. Obviously, because of the limit of the number of check-in baggage, we either had to use a international luggage shipping service to send the excess baggage to our NYC apartment beforehand or pay the insanely overpriced excess baggage fees at the airport. We chose the former. I love my wife, though. If this is the package she comes with, then I will deal with it every vacation that we go to.
